Charge, NaNoWriMos!

Yes, that's you, NaNoWriMos. A charging rhinoceros on day one. Cruise past 1,667 words. Charge right toward 5,000. No one can stop you.

Ha, brilliant.

Thanks for that. I'll try to view the rhino as me, and not an abstruction blocking me!

I'm hoping for 3500 on each weekend day (9 of) and about 900 on each of the weekdays (21 of) giving a bit over 50K. I'm taking a break at the 1000 word mark at the moment. It's a bit awkward as I'm used to writing stuff out long-hand first and then typing. But I realize that won't work for NaNo as just the typing out of 50K words would take me about 40 hours. Yikes!

I'm still going to write long-hand first. I'm more creative that way. Here's to rhinos...

Cate - I have a new picture for each day this week along with a prompt word. You're list of words today was simply brilliant.

Alan - Great strategy. With my munchkins, I had to write more on the weekdays last year (crazy, huh?).

Laura - Yikes...long-hand. Funny, I find myself more creative while typing (although notes, sketches, etc. have to be long-hand).

Rhinos are good. I'm feeling more like a snail, though. :-)

I suppose I should start that today, shouldn't I.

Hahaha, the perfect picture!

Becca - Make it a snail with a big horn and you're in business!

Jamie - Why not?

Katey - I wanted one with dust kicked up, but I'll take it.

The rhino stepped on me or something. I've only written 15 words this afternoon.

Time to buckle down and charge!

It's only day two and I'm already procrastinating. Actually, that was part of the plan.

Yeah. I'm going with that. ;)
