So I'm a rock and roll nerd. A buddy from work and I went to see Rush last night in K.C. For a trio of old dudes, they rocked. Hell, for a trio of any age, they rocked. After the final break, Geddy Lee came out on stage in a KU National Basketball Champs t-shirt. The crowd went nuts.
My ears are still ringing.
I received an acceptance from Sein und Werden for my short story, "Fifty-fifty" yesterday as well. I'm glad they picked it up because I'm not sure who else would be interested. It's a strange, strange story--I guess you'd say surreal, with a whole load of angst. (I penned the notes while waiting in a doctor's office...for three hours)
My goal for this week is to clean up some of my older stuff that hasn't sold. I think a good round of revisions is due for all the little stories without a home.
Oh yeah, "Bottom Feeders" is in the current issue of Cemetery Moon. It's one of my personal favorites, and I'm glad it's out.
Peace.
