I failed to mention yesterday's installment of "Black Medicine Thunder and the Sons of Chaos" at The Red Penny Papers yesterday (bad writer!). Oh yes, things go from bad to severely f*cked this week, or as Max would say, "What the heck?"
(We've worked so hard at keeping the little scamp's language clean. Can't you tell?)
Also, review goodness from ScaryMinds re: Dark Pages Volume 1...
"And Cargo by Aaron Polson calls to mind the best of Romero in a sort of sifting through the ashes of post apocalyptic society way."
Awwww...I conjured Romero. (I'm not even sure if the things out there in the dark were zombies.

It must put a glow in your heart to have your name used in the same sentence as Romero. I suppose one man's zombies is another man's vampires...and good luck with keeping the scamp's language clean. It's an uphill battle!
Aw, don't be so hard on yourself, things slip, life happens, kids get their hands stuck in the cookie jars.
Nice Review! And Lol at the soapy use of language!
Keep up the great work, Aaron!
Happy writing!
Kara
Wow, what a comparison! I'd be doing a happy dance. Congrats!
Fabulous! Dark Pages is next on my list of anthos to read, and I'm almost through with the one I'm doing now :D Sooooo cool.
Vampire zombies!
I think being mentioned in the same sentence as Romero is quite an honor. People are talking about your work. That's more than what some writers have.
Congrats on the review. And damn those hackers to Hell.
Alan - It's a battle, for sure.
Thanks, Kara. You get to writing yourself.
Barry - It's always nice to find these snippets.
Katey - I scare myself sometimes.
Natalie - I always confuse them with zombie vampires.
Andrea - ;)
Yes, Cate. (or Darn them to Heck, as I hope Max would say)
Nice review!
I changed my Google password the other week after Cate got hacked. I think I'd better just change all my passwords--to random gibberish that only I can remember (except that I can't).
A brilliant story, as usual. Great review too.
