Summer means more time to play with my tech toys, so I've dusted off an entry for last year's MicroHorror flash fiction contest and recorded it as an audio podcast.
Give a listen to "God's Creatures", a story inspired by the root cellar at my grandparents' home when I was a child. Read the text if you choose.

I remember that story. I liked it even better read out loud! Maybe because my mom always did the voices for me as a kid...

Creepy and gross - the latter because I was imagining the smell from someone chained up in such a place for so long.

Aaron - I think you may need to add to TLODS with somewhere for audio reprints.
ReplyDeletePeople can send you stories that have already been published somewhere, because chances are they never used the audio rights, and you can read them and post them for the world to enjoy!
Or you can tell me to go and sit in the corner and never mention silly ideas ever again...

ReplyDeleteJameson - I use an Edirol E09, an awesome little digital recorder (studio musicians actually use these bad boys). I'm pretty shameful when it comes to tech toys. Once upon a time I was going to make music. Ha ha ha.
