Nearing the End and A Request

This morning finds me nearing the end of the YA portion of my NaNoWriMo journey. I'm at 32K for Rock Gods and Scary Monsters, and need to pen the final chapter and add some bits at the beginning. How did I manage 32K already...? (um, sleep, right? I've been skipping sleep...)

Soooooo very tempted to started editing, but I know that needs to wait.

The novella that I'm going to start is tentatively called Stash. A couple of boys find some old glass jars in which they can hide things to retreive later. One of those "power corrupts" kind of stories--not to mention what else they find inside the jars. Um, the father of one of the boys has been missing for ten years? Oh, yeah...

Finally, I've received a full manuscript request for The Last Days of the Springdale Saints. Fingers crossed but I'm not holding my breath anymore. We shall see...

I have told you earlier that you are a NaNo animal and i stand by that, but get some sleep if you can after sending your manuscript off. I will raise a glass to you later today. good luck.

Ooh, good luck with the full. I will be keeping everything crossed for you (so they better get back to you quickly). ;)

What happens if they stick something attached to them in the jar? I"m trying to be delicate here, but you can see where this is going ; )

And wow, you are tearing it UP with Nano. I am awed. Also very very envious.

I put the capper on Rock Gods for now (33K plus some change). Thanks for all the encouragement.

Oh, hooray on the full request! Do a little dance and continue to throw youself into nano. I'm doing a novella and finishing up a seperate novel, as well. It makes for a little schitzophrenia, doesn't it?
