WIP Wednesday: By the Numbers

Net gain of one thousand words after revising and rewriting parts of Borrowed Saints.

In the Memory House stands at 47K with another 15-20K until the first draft is done.

The House Eaters sold five copies with its former imprint; since going "indie" it has sold 254 copies and counting. Yes, price does have an impact folks. People seem to like "cheap" for better or for worse.

I'm about thirty books away from hitting the "1,000" mark sold via Kindle. I guess that's a milestone.

Now I need to write.

Have a great day.

Those are some great numbers. Congrats! Wow! Did you ever have The House Eaters set as "free"?

Barry - Only at Smashwords and only for a few days. I didn't include those copies in my numbers.

Wait a minute... Only five copies sold of the original book. So that means that my copy of The House Eaters is rare and it's signed. I'm already designing the mansion I'm going to buy off the proceeds.

Cate - I didn't include a few copies sold via consignment at bookstores. By few I mean three. So yes, yes indeed--a rare, rare thing.

The House Eaters is such an awesome book! It deserves to sell a billion copies. Maybe that's next!
